The Reformed Church (Calvin’s chapel) in Sulechow was built among 1752 and 1762. The Calvin’s community existed here already in 1683, when Polish nobles – Stanislaw and Mikolaj Latalski, Milenki and Bukowiecki came to the city as the expatriates. They had a Scottish preacher – Andrew Malcolm as a friend. Originally the masses were said in the nearby castle. However thanks to Prussian King – Frederick II, in 1751 the Calvinists received the permission to build a new church. In 1752, people started to construct it. The consecration and first mass took place in 1765. After the WW II, the house served among others as the catholic parish house and as the house of culture. The building is late baroque in style.

Presently, there is a lovely decorated show and concert hall in it. It belongs to the Sulechów House of Culture and was reopened on November 30th, 2007.
