Slaski Stadium, located in the Provincial Culture and Leisure Park in Chorzow, is the largest sporting facility of its kind in Poland. Officially, since 1993 - the National Stadium. It is a universal object, are taking place mainly football matches, racing speedway, athletic games and music events. The biggest turnout enjoyed the stadium in 1963 when 120,000 spectators watched the Cup Qualifying European Champion Poland-Austria. For many years there is here a great artistic events. The stadium has hosted, among others Music stars such as The Rolling Stones, AC / DC, The Police, Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Genesis, Linkin Park and U2.

Największą frekwencją cieszył się stadion w 1963 r. kiedy to 120.000 widzów oglądało Eliminacje do Pucharu Europy Mistrzów Krajowych Polska-Austria. Od wielu lat odbywają się tu wielkie imprezy artystyczne.
