A real treat for car enthusiasts – a museum with exhibits of vehicles dating back to the end of the 19th century

The Motor Museum in Otrebusy, near Warsaw was established in 1995. It is one of the largest exponents of this type in Europe, visited by lovers of old technology and motorization. Currently, among the exhibits there are about 300 examples of historic vehicles and a large collection of associated items e.g. radios and posters.

The oldest vehicle is the Titan tractor produced in the USA in 1895. The oldest truck is a Mercedes from1913 and the oldest passenger car is a Fiat from 1919. Among the exhibits are cars, lorries, buses, aircraft, children’s prams, bicycles, motorcycles and working tanks. Dozens of vehicles are being restored including the famous Polish 7TP tank and the TKS reconnaissance tank. A true rarity is Joseph Stalin’s ZIS convertible automobile, Loda Halama’s Mecedes170v, also a cabriolet, and many other cars which had been used by Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe or Jan Kiepura. All the vehicles have been restored according to specifications at the time they were originally produced.

The museum organises many cultural events such as the “Century of Motorization in Poland” exhibition as well as many displays throughout the country.
